Customs Clearance for Shipments to Companies
Although FedEx provide the maximum amount of clearance services allowed under local law and regulations, Customs may require from the shipper aditional documents depending on the content of shipment, and another ones by the recipient, with the submission of the customs declaration for dutiable shipments.
- Customs requests a “Power of Attorney” be notary signed between Flying Cargo Bulgaria and the consignee for clearance services and provided in original and a submitted “Request for Customs mediation”
- Customs may at their discretion request additional documents.
- The amount of duties & taxes cannot be prognosed in advance - it is calculated during the preparation of the declaration, and communicated to the recipient.
- Duties & taxes may be paid by bank transfer or cash to Customs, or to Flying Cargo Bulgaria.
- Shipment is released for delivery after duties & taxes have been paid and the declaration has been approved by the Customs.
- Payment of duties & taxes must be confirmed by copies of the payment order or bank receipt.
- For the customs clearance, all required documents should be originals.
