Items Forbidden for Export by FedEx

  

·          Dangerous Goods, dry-ice, radioactive material

·          Devices for smoking opium or hashish

·          Cash and cash equivalents

·          Narcotics, psychotropic substances

·          Weapons

·          Perishables

·          Gold, jewellery

·          Precious metals and stones and goods bearing them

·          Pornography

·          Remains, cremated or disinterred

·          Animals and plants

The following items may be sent only with the permission of the Bulgarian Committee for Geology and Resources, excepting retail souvenir items. Items with a * may be exported with a certificate from the Federal Service for Preservation of Culture and payment of corresponding taxes.

·          Precious metals and stones, pearls and items produced from pearls

·          Samples of Bulgarian flora and fauna listed in the Red Book

·          Undeveloped photo-sensitive materials

·          Sculptural, applied or decorative art-works, musical productions *

·          Printed materials, stamps, gramophone records and other items with significant artistic value *
